INCREASED UNIFORM THICKNESS<\/strong> TECSINT PSOM <\/span>can be used in the same way as TECSINT PSO at the end of pickling, producing the same results, although it slightly lightens the wet-blue shade.<\/p>\n During the wet-blue soaking phase, its effect is increased, and if you have dry folds caused by dry or old wet-blue, TECSINT PSOM enables to stretch\u00a0them better <\/span>preventing them from wrinkling on the hide that\u00a0<\/span>is being air dried. The best performances are achieved during the chrome retanning process before adding chromium or synthetic chromium.<\/p>\n During this phase, there is a greater fixation of chromium on the leather\u00a0resulting in <\/span>the exhaustion of the tanning baths and\u00a0<\/span>significantly lower concentrations of chromium in the baths; we obtain fuller and better stretched hide and, finally, when the leather is finished\u00a0veins are less noticeable. <\/span>The products used in the following stages, such as resins, retanning agents, fatliquors and dyes, will be more similar to the leather fibres enabling to use a lower quantity of products, while obtaining a better exhaustion of the tanning baths and more\u00a0<\/span>uniform leather <\/span>both in terms of firmness and in the dye, which will be particularly clean, smooth and bright.<\/p>\n TECSINT PSOM <\/span>can also be used as a dispersant in both synthetic and vegetable retanning processes; adding a dosage of 2%-5% after neutralisation favours the distribution of the retanning agents, prevents grain overload and, at the time of fixing, it favours the exhaustion\u00a0<\/span>of the tanning baths. <\/span>Used in the fatliquoring process, it not only has a dispersing and penetrating effect on the fatliquors, but also a filling effect favouring the filling of the sides.<\/p>\n [\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.8.1″ custom_margin=”45px||16px|||”]<\/p>\n
